Please be aware that in most states, high temperatures during the spring and summer months, especially above 75 degrees Fahrenheit, can cause your whipped shea butter to melt faster due to its light and fluffy texture. 

It is important to note that while all jars are filled to the top, melted shea butter loses volume that was created by being whipped. As a result, your jar may appear only halfway filled and the consistency may change to a balm-like texture. However, rest assured that your shea butter is still perfectly fine to use and will keep your skin moisturized and smelling wonderful.

Butter Luv has no control over your whipped Shea butter melting. It may melt during transit, as it sits in the mailbox or sitting directly in the sun after delivery.  

**Please understand that Butter Luv cannot be held responsible for products melting during transit. We recommend shipping to an address where the products will not be left in the heat for a long period of time.

Q. Where can I find my tracking number?

A: Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.  Please allow 24 for your tracking number to update on the United States Post office (USPS) website.

Butter Luv LLC has no control over your package once the USPS takes possession of it.

Q: What if my Shea butter is melted when I receive it?

A: During the Spring/Summer months when temperatures are high, your Shea butter may melt during transit, or if left sitting in the mailbox, or on a porch in the heat.

If this should happen just place your jar/jars in a cool room or refrigerator and let your Shea butter re-solidify. 

The consistency of the Shea butter will change but it will not impact the quality. It is still perfectly fine to use and will go on smooth and smell great.

You may also want to consider shipping to an address where you know your package will not be left sitting for a long period of time in the heat.

Q: What do I do if my Shea Butter is hard when I receive it?

A: Due to cold or freezing temperatures during the winter months, your Shea butter may harden during transit. If this should happen let your jar/jars sit at room temperature and the Shea butter will become soft again. (Do not heat in the microwave)

A: Jars come in three sizes, 4 ounce, 8 ounce & 16 ounce jars
